St. Croix has some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. Having grown up on St Croix, your Captain knows the best spots to go. And while Buck Island is well known, the East End Marine Park has five miles of beautiful reefs and Marine life including Fish, Rays, Lobsters, Turtles, Starfish, Octopus, Squid and Conch. You may even see porpoise and swim with them too! The East End Marine Park is well protected and many of the best spots are only accessible by boat.

 

If you are a beginner and have never snorkeled, we can provide instruction and then guide you through the reefs with a floating device for your safety. We can provide gear or you may bring your own .

 

The five miles of reefs run east to west ( like the trade winds ) and are perfect for drift snorkeling, which allows you to swim in the same direction as the wind and current making it possible to cover lots of area and not fight the waves, currents, and winds. Your snorkeling guide will swim with you and point out many species of fish and sea creatures along the way!!
